About
Before training to be a counsellor, I worked in the corporate sector in IT and Marketing and have exerienced pressured environments working for international companies.Â
Much the same as many of the people I work with, I reached a turning point where I wondered what is next for me, do I really want to carry on living life this way and how long will I last if things do not change.Â
I began training to be a counsellor in 2018 and feel extremely privileged to be working in this industry, helping other people feel more secure and content.
I have worked in various counselling agencies with specific experience of Domestic Abuse and women affected by the Criminal Justice Sector. Â
I develop workshops, provide supervision for trainee and qualified counsellors and am a lecturer in a local college where I teach trainee counsellors. I take pride in imparting knowledge to help trainee counsellors become safe and ethical practitioners.
